The demonstration will be held in the barn in the event of inclement weather.  While you’re there stop by the Weavers Cottage for a look at the antique spinning and weaving implements and to hear about their history and use.

The new home of Joshua’s Trust is 624 Wormwood Hill Road.  The 68-acre farm belonged to the late Isabelle Atwood, a founding member of Joshua’s Trust who generously donated the farm to the Trust in 2012.  Joshua’s Trust had previously leased the Eagleville School House on South Eagleville Road in Mansfield for 23 years before moving to their new location in January 2015.   Joshua’s Trust will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary next year, and now protects more than 6,000 acres of property and conservation easements in Andover, Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Eastford, Franklin, Hampton, Lebanon, Mansfield, Scotland, Tolland, Willington and Windham.  Need a Christmas gift for the environmentalist on your list?   Joshua’s Trust Gift memberships are available from $10 to $500.  Get one now or one for yourself. Joshua's Trust property sign
